House Healing versus House Clearing

When people ask me what I do, I say I’m a house healer. Many look at me quite blankly, then I explain. Others take a few seconds to think and then say ‘oh, you do house clearance’. Unfortunately I generally equate this with a man coming round in a small truck to take unwanted items. Not that I have any problem with these marvellous people – I”ve used them myself. They do a fine job!
I suppose, very loosely there is a connection. I am looking for ‘unwanted’ things in a home. I feel that when there is a problem in a house, it’s more of a situation where something is just in the wrong place and needs to go where its better suited.

If there is a spirit in a home that is causing an issue I work with it to restore it to its rightful place. I work with empathy and respect. I find out why the spirit might be left on this earthly plane. There are often reasons why a spirit wants to stay, sometimes its because they wish to be a little ‘contrary’, it could also be that they don’t know they have died – especially in the case of sudden unexpected death. Certainly in the latter case I would hate to think of the ‘clearance scenario’, where the soul may be metaphorically dumped on the back of a truck and taken away.
I work with the soul, listen to what they have to say – sometimes having to explain what has happened. I then work with them to help them transition safely and comfortably to their next realm. I open and close the channel that they use to travel, making sure that portals are sealed so that other souls are not drawn to the house. It is an honour to be able to do this work, to thank them for their life lived on earth, and enable them to move on.
The house is then able to get its equilibrium back, the occupants feel more comfortable. The energy in the house is balanced.
So yes, I have ‘cleared’ the house. I just don’t use a van!!
